From full turnkey to consigned materials, Axiom’s supply chain team is dedicated to meeting our customers’ needs. Offering procurement, negotiation, and pricing of components in a timely manner allows our customers time to do what they do best.
Axiom utilizes a formal supplier approval process as a fundamental part of our supply chain strategy. Our supplier quality review process includes a quarterly scorecard evaluation and provides timely feedback to our supplier’s performance. We measure quality, on-time delivery, pricing trends, and services related to inventory terms, financial terms, and communications.
Axiom goes out of our way to form relationships with not just suppliers & distributors, but also the manufacturers of both customer and COTS materials, including outside services. These relationships are critical in times of long lead times, allocations, or when a customer requests a change to their schedule.
Our Buyers are aligned with specific Program Managers and their customers. This alignment allows the buyer to become an expert in their customers, their materials, and their supplier base. This expertise also allows us a benefit in the quoting process by leveraging the buyer’s knowledge base being embedded into the quote process.
